Mr. Parker has been the principal of Jasper High School, his alma mater, for two years.  Prior to serving as principal, Mr. Parker worked as Director of Curriculum and Assessment, as Federal Programs Director, as high school counselor, and as a classroom teacher all in the Jasper School District. He holds a Masters degree in school leadership from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.  Mr. Parker is passionate about improving school culture, creating personalized learning opportunities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all students, giving students a true voice in the decision making process, and creating innovative ways to build a more effective master schedule for high schools.
