I began my career with a degree in Professional Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. However, met the love of my life and we quickly began the expansion of our family.  After staying at home with the little ones until they reached school age, I pursued a teaching career where I spent 20 years in the secondary classroom, and 10 years at the district level as the Science Curriculum Supervisor.  Subsequently, I spent 2 years as a Science Assessment Specialist, however, am extremely fortunate to be back working in curriculum development - my true passion.  I have been with Kendall Hunt for 2 years and have loved every minute!  The shift in the science instructional approach is exciting and I thoroughly enjoy sharing our cutting-edge resources and supporting teachers as they make this shift!
