Pam Martin, MS, RD, LD, CDCES is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with the Institute of Community Health Innovation at UAMS. She has been an RD since 2009, first working with developmentally disabled adults in Louisiana.  She has experience working in long-term care, inpatient and outpatient settings, food service, and wellness.  In her current role, she works closely with schools in Arkansas to help increase access to healthy foods. She also uses her experience to create educational materials and provide virtual education and counseling for various diabetes-focused projects.  Pam continues to work towards her goal of disease prevention through lifestyle changes and helping bridge the gap between health, nutrition, and unmet needs.
