Jessica Hickman is the new Public-School Program Advisor for the state of Arkansas on the McKinney-Vento Law. This law provides services for students experiencing homelessness. She has a passion for learning and a passion for helping students that makes her current role helping students who experience homelessness her dream job. Ms. Hickman was previously a 4th grade and kindergarten teacher here in the state of Arkansas. She holds a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Arkansas University. She is currently pursuing her Education Specialist degree in Organizational Leadership K-12 from Grand Canyon University.
