This session will explore methods to identify commonalities across various CTE subject areas by aligning them with the Arkansas Disciplinary Literacy Standards for Technical Subjects. Key topics include:

  • Creating a Framework to Identify Common Standards: Learn how to crosswalk Arkansas Disciplinary Literacy Standards with various CTE subject standards to find shared areas directly connected to the workforce using AI.
  • Approaching the Development of Formative Assessments: Gain insights into the process of collaboratively creating common formative assessments based on these shared standards.

This session provides practical strategies for CTE educators to collaborate across different disciplines, ensuring cohesive instruction and assessment that align with both academic and industry standards.
