Throughout our careers we have been told certain things and perhaps never questioned if they were true. However, through research findings from the science of learning, many practices and beliefs in education have been shown to either have no effect on learning or in some cases hinder learning. While we will debunk three common beliefs, we will also show you what you to do to increase student achievement. This session will help you to not only be a more effective educator, but also more efficient as you may realize that some things you are doing can be stopped.
